External instances are not loaded in Safari #610

Using Safari 4, external instances fail to load. See the attached form (and 
external instance) for an example.

A proposed fix is awaiting review at r3181. Note that this doesn't address the 
root 
cause of why YAHOO.util.Connect.asyncRequest is failing, but instead diverts 
Safari to 
use the schemeHandlers from the backplane project. This matches our usage in 
xforms-
submission.js.

The root cause problem with YAHOO.util.Connect.asyncRequest() is to be 
investigated 
separately under issue 611. There is incidental evidence to suggest that it may 
not be 
a problem for all users.
