Safari doesn't yet pass all regression tests #614

The Safari work to date has improved matters somewhat, however the following 
tests from the regression suite have not been made to work yet:

issue 242, issue 412, issue 415, issue 439, issue 506, range as a map

I've disabled these tests in Safari pending resolution of this issue, so 
people don't get themselves into a pickle thinking that they've broken 
something.
