Allow unconditional cutting from both ends at the same time #88

With the current version, the -u option can only be specified once. The 
attached patch allows the -u option to be specified twice, provided the lengths 
have different signs.

Thanks, good idea! I had to modify the patch since tabs have been converted to 
spaces, and I also added a test. I have now applied it.
