results should be kept in each subjob object, and requested by the mk_html job.

only process things in the prescribed way if the results are packaged in the event_process_output class. This is sort of an intermediate step.

currently the event_process_output class replicates the previous behavior but is one object instead of a bunch of different unconnected things.
