lib/xdr_sizeof.c is based on libc's code but it's license is not free one.
Some years ago, Oracle re-licensed it as BSD-3-clause, so could you fetch from libc (or eglibc - I checked eglibc), modify and put it to hail, please?
It's necessary to put hail to Debian... so please.
