Word search causes find bar to appear #36

For some reason, in the latest versions of Firefox, the find bar appears when using the word search functionality. That shouldn't be the case.

I have a workaround (I "learned" to live with this bug for years until I found a workaround this week) but first I would suggest that the title of this issue should be "Sometimes Word Search doesn't work correctly". It doesn't sometimes just "open" the "find bar". it really sometimes fails to find some of the search words (it happens to me many times but I can't really "reproduce" this bug).

The workaround : menu ≡ > options > advanced > general > tick the "search for text when i start typing" checkbox.

After applying this workaround the "search words" function of GBL will work correctly.

This workaround has a very small downside : Every time you click one of GBL's search words which doesn't exist in the page the browser's Quick Find Bar will popup. This is not significant because clicking anywhere in the page will automatically close it.
