It may be a useful to, every once in a while, back up the images and articles somewhere. The reason for this would be to protect against accidental deletions and to get access to the images for other uses.

Doing it by button on the site itself would be the best solution. This way it would be possible to provide additional download options like:

• data as raw JSON from the database (for possible data recovery)
• only content of the past year
• ...

If the images would be put into a zip-archive or something like that before downloading would be amazing.

This export then maybe would also enable analytics on the data and similar things.
