Shelly Wave Shutter - Venetian Blind mode #213

HI,

i added the Shelly Wave Shutter (z_Wave) to Homey Pro and want to use it in ventian blind mode. image

After following the instruction it is not possible to switch to venetian blind mode - it is not working. image

According to the original Shelly instructions, I could not find anything spontaneously that the shutter must be excluded and re-included after changing parameter 71.

Why would there be Homey instructions in the generic Shelly instructions? Did you re-pair your device after changing this setting to Venetian mode as instructed by the Homey app?

Yes, I have paired the device again (3 times). But each time the setting is not the one selected afterwards. If I then want to adjust the blind position, I get this message image

I made some changes in the latest version that is still pending approval. Could you try this first.

installed the test. I have to add the device new? cant find a repair button....?!

Ok. I guess for now this isnt supported. I have no clue what is wrong.

Could you share a diagnostic report from the app settings?

I was made aware that it's not best practise to implement both the windowcoverings_state and windowcoverings_set capabilities. So this capability will probably be removed in a future release. You should use the slider to control the shutter position instead of these up/down/stop buttons.

The slat position for external venetian blinds or Venetian blinds cannot be adjusted using the slider. The slider is not designed for this purpose and it will not work. With Fibaro Rollershutter you also have 2 controllers. image

I'm aware but removing the windowcoverings_state doesn't mean the windowcoverings_tilt_set (used for the slats) will also be removed.

Release 3.24.3 removes the windowcoverings_state capability. It's currently pending approval but will be available in the upcoming days. You should be able to set the position of the shutter using the position slider and the position of the slats using the tilt slider. If something does not work with release 3.24.3 please open a new ticket explaining in further detail what is wrong.
