The Shelly app isnt installed on Homey Bridge but is installed directIy on Homey Cloud. It will only use the Bridge for Bluetooth and Zwave devices.
I tested version 3.28.1 on Homey Cloud and can not reproduce any crashes. Also there are not other users reporting this. So it's probably not an issue with 3.28.1 but something with your specific setup. And there are also no automated crash reports in my developer tools.
What is the actual error and please send a diagnostic report from the app settings.
It is not possible to create a diagnostic report. It's greyed out. The only info I can get is the the app has crashed. And a reinstall does not help..

I have tried to re-install without any success. As you say it must be a cloud problem with the shelly app.All of my devices is connected via the cloud and all of them is working in the shelly app./Anders. Could you report this to Athom. Without any logs, without being able to reproduce and without other users experiencing the same issue it's impossible for me to solve.

As mentioned, the Shelly app doesnt use Homey Bridge, it's installed on Homey Cloud. Only connected Shelly Wave or Shelly Blu devices would use the bridge to proxy these signals to Homey cloud. Are you using Wave or BLU devices or only WiFi connected Shelly devices?

Was able to create diagnostic report in the Homey web application. Have you received it ?
Was also able to get this info in the web-app.
Have mailed Athom but they have 2 weeks respons time for support…..

No, I havent received any report from a cloud instance. What was the ID that was returned to you after you submitted the report?
My mistake, I get an error when sending the report “App temporary unavailable, Back shortly”
Gave my photo any ideas of the error?
If I un-install the app and then install it again, do I get any other problem? I am not in the house were I have my Bridge. It is 200 km away….

When manually uinstalling an app your devices will be removed as well. That will give you a clean install and will probably work but you'd have to start from scratch with adding the devices.
I fully understand that its running in the cloud, but still the new version is crashing and previous version worked fine.
If it is a cloud problem should nor more users have same problem?

Sorry for disturbing!
Have removed shelly app from Homy Cloud and tried to re-install the app. Still get the same message “App crashed” so it is not possible to install the app. Must be an error in the Homey Cloud, but why is not more installations affected….

I never mentioned it's a cloud issue. I said it seemed to something specific to your situation but without logs, being able to re-produce or other users experiencing the same it's hard to tell. Therefor I asked you to contact Athom, they do have more logging. For me a Homey Cloud is pretty much a black box.

Although I cant tell it's a cloud issue I can imagine only a small group could be affected if a specific cloud instance is having issues while other are running fine. It could be out of space for instance and therefor unable to install the app.
If I knew how to help you I already would have but I really do not know where to start with only "it crashes on start up".
Somebody on the forum has reported the same issue, you are not alone. Hopefully that will give some more information.
Anyone that is having this issue, please share the region of your Homey Cloud instance. It can be found under the general settings in the app. That might point to a specific cloud server having issues.
And while you are at it, also post the cloud server of Shelly. This can be found under the Shelly device settings somewhere.
Hi, I experience the same problem.
The Shelly app keeps crashing, Using a Homey bridge and have the latest shelly app "V3.28.1" homeyVersion “10.1.0” region "prod-eunorth1-001" I have restarted both the cloud controller and the device. All Shelly devices are functional when using the shelly app.
@vontratt , please also let me know what Shelly cloud server the devices are connected to. This can be found under the device settings in the Shelly smartphone app or WebUI of the device.

I cannot find any info about what Shelly cloud server my devices is connected to. Since I am not in place of my installation I cannot access the WebUi of my devices so I can only use my smartphone
What I understand is that the Shelly Cloud server is autodetected based on the device geolocation and time zone on the devices. In my case this is “Europe/Stockholm”. But I discovered on one of my devices that when I tried to save the time zon “Eurrope/Stochholm” againcin the Shelly app, I get an error “Invalid Argument : Europe/Stockholm Unknown Time Zone”:

I cant find any info regarding cloud server in my smartphone app, Ill see if I can access the Webui of any device to locate it.
Just to chime in that my app crashed yesterday as well, debug log button is greyed out. Located in Sweden so probably same region as previous posters.

Athom looked into it and has implemented a temporary fix. The Shelly app should start again in the next hour or so.
