Reciprocity norms - social strategy to react positively to positive actions of others, and negatively to negative actions. For example, tit-for-tat, an agent's first act is to cooperate, all following interactions he will mirror his opponent. The concept is related to reciprocal altruism, a concept from biology in which an organism decreases its fitness in order to benefit another organism in expectation that the other will do the same.
Direct/indirect reciprocity Direct reciprocity is the reciprocity between direct interactions of two agents while indirect reciprocity is reciprocity between concerned agents with some others inbetween.
Societal reciprocity The probability of a randomly selected agent to engage in reciprocating actions.
Dyadic reciprocity The probability that two specific agents a and b will reciprocate each other's actions.
The practice of exchanging things with others for mutual benefit, especially privileges granted by one country or organization to another.
