Section 2 Risk is very much connected to the concepts of trust and reputation.

...: the amount of risk that a party may be willing to tolerate is directly proportional to the amount of > trust that the party has in the other party.

Also a very nice definition of the task of a reputation system is:

The main aim of reputation systems is therefore to support the establishment of trust between unfamiliar parties.

Section 3 Most systems consider only the reputation of an entity in the function of the system (e.g. e-commerce, export advice or file sharing).

Reputation has more that the individual dimension. Reputation can also be influenced by an organization that a individual is associated with. Unproven entities can bootstrap their reputation by belonging to a group. A group's members needs to moderate the behavior of those associated with the group in order to keep the reputation of the whole group high.

In the other section this paper introduces an elaborate taxonomy for reputation systems in research and industry. First the dimensions are explained and each of the studied reputation systems is explained shortly. Then observations are made for each of the dimensions in the taxonomy. The paper also mentions previously established taxonomies from other research.
