any updates in 2014?

I am unable to maintain the project as I am occupied with some personal commitments - however implementing a few changes should make it work fine again.

The two issues about WhatForensics that I immediately see are:

  1. I've been selecting column by indexes in the sqlite queries instead of their names, hence there may be issues if WhatsApp changes the database format (even slightly)
  2. The recent jailbreaks no longer enable a root AFC2. That means that one can no longer easily pull a WA database from a jailbroken phone easily. Loading databases from iTunes Backups and from disk should still work fine.
