Don't buy from Andy's Auto Sport #33

I thought Andy's Auto Sport would be a good, reliable vendor for parts (partly due to knowing their name in the industry for many years, and party due to the helpful videos they have on YouTube).

But after making a purchase last Friday and being surprised to pay $15 in shipping for a less than 1lb item, I emailed them asking about it. I still haven't received a response nearly 3 days later, so it got me wondering how reputable Andy's actually is. I did a quick Google search, and it turns out the internet is awash in complaints about how terrible Andy's is with customer service.

The BBB and a few other sources says Andy's is "taking steps to correct" things, but it's not worth the risk with all of the bad experiences out there (and there are tons).

Worth noting that Andy's is apparently drop ship company, which means they apparently don't stock their own stuff, they receive your order and then place an order with the manufacturer. So that's a bunch of crap, might as well just search Amazon or elsewhere on the web - it will arrive faster and cheaper.

More info:

Best part about Andy's is that their website is very helpful for selecting parts, and many of the pages have helpful install videos. So my best advice to anyone who comes across this in the future is use the site to find the part you're looking for, and then go buy it from Amazon or a more reputable vendor.
