Map Input Not Working on Mac #9

Open scottosx opened 6 years ago

scottosx commented 6 years ago

When putting a map in the Helm on a Mac the Minecraft window goes into the background and the cursor appears. No input is possible and the MC interface is essentially locked up. No recovery seems possible. Tried all key combinations: alt, ctrl, command key, function keys, etc.

There are some similar issues with Astral Sorcery which is the only mod I know of that has an interactive overlay drawing type interface. https://github.com/HellFirePvP/AstralSorcery/issues/12

With the issue on Astral Sorcery recovery is possible and in past versions I have had full functionality.

Tried both current mod versions: 1.0.1 and 1.1.0 1.12.2 Forge tried from 2555 to 2594 ForgeIn 1.6.0

Can you try to reproduce this and then send the game log (available from the launcher) ?

Use pastebin.com to send it here

Here is the log after force quitting Minecraft: https://pastebin.com/xgTLxpdX

The problem is not OS-specific according to the log. I think I have fixed the issue from the log, could you try again with 1.1.1? https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/moar-boats/files/2525675

Still same behavior in 1.1.1. Here is the log after force quit: https://pastebin.com/X5MP2Ak4 This time I also added a furnace and chest to see if the null objects the log refers to could be these. Guess not.

Apparently the server cannot find the boat the client wants to communicate with, I'll have to investigate a bit further

scottosx commented 6 years ago

Note in latest Forge versions like 605 the client would disconnect when placing the boat. I didn't mention this yet to keep focused on the GUI issue while using Forge versions you built for (555) or that are required by JEI updates (594). Could be related?

jglrxavpok commented 6 years ago

Could be. Could you open a new issue with the log from this other crash?
