Markdown table cell/contents centering with pdflatex engine with Typora

When using pdflatex to export this markdown table to pdf, the alignment of the table is to the left, I am using Typora and did an export using pdfLatex+MakeIndex+BiBTex and I can see that the interpretation of the semicolon at each end appears to have been missed: yiedls this: If I add a c to the definition then the table works but how can get this to work from markdown straight to pdflatex engine? What input format? gfm doesn't support the centering syntax. Only pandoc's markdown. (You may have to ask typora people if this is not obvious.)
