Allow "mark" and "alerts" extensions for more markdown-family input formats #9917

Describe your proposed improvement and the problem it solves.

It seems like there's no markdown-based input format which allows for both the mark and the alerts extensions. The simplest route to having both available would probably be to allow mark as an extension in at least commonmark_x, but I don't see why mark couldn't be available everywhere (at least from my user perspective).

Describe alternatives you've considered.

alerts could also be made available in more places but as it seems a bit more GFM specific that might be less desirable.

Adding mark as a commonmark extension probably makes sense.

I would like to have alerts as an option for pandoc markdown?
