Is this a bug in the source? If so, please identify it. If it is a bug in a particular build, it belongs only in the Debian BTS.

Hi, sorry because I didn't notice your reply. Actually I don't know wether this is a bug in the source or in Debian's build.

How would I know? Is this a known problem? I can copy the BTS bug report here for clarity, if you want.

@jgoerzen I've updated the debian bug report since I can't reproduce this anymore, for no apparent reason. As you are also the maintainer in Debian, can you close the bug on the BTS? (what's the proper way to close a debian bug?). Thanks
