Sequential variational input data format #7

For each time step where an image (or images) exists, we need the following information

  1. Time (normalised time, e.g. 1 to 180 days)
  2. Pointer to the data (e.g. a Python array)
  3. Pointer to the spatial mask (e.g. clouds)
  4. Angular configuration (VZA, SZA, RAA): these are three scalars
  5. Emulator to use for this particular angular configuration
  6. Bands, wavelengths...
  7. Integer number of times the observation fits into the state grid
  8. Observational uncertainty
