This would work on Jupyterhub, not on the container that we have. I have explored Github classroom (which does the same thing), and I think might be easier to manage. But no one ever takes the test I put up for people to try ;-/ ;-)

I can see you have something in https://classroom.github.com/classrooms, but its not at all obvious what I am supposed to do with it.
