Color picker in the color palette is useless because of semi-transparent background layer

Describe the bug When the color palette is open, the Color Picker cannot be usefully applied to individual colors due to the semi-transparent background.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a shape and change its line or background color
2. In the color palette, click on the pipette
3. In the color picker, also click on the pipette
4. Problem: The selectable colors are mixed with the background layers

Expected behavior After opening the color picker, the background layer should disappear.

Additional context Based on the issue here. I know there are other ways to open the color picker (without background layer), but since I almost always open the color palette first, it would be nice if this issue could be fixed.
