502 returning from api.media.atlassian.com #3253

Some users are seeing 502 responses from api.media.atlassian.com. It seems that when an instance experiences this, it occurs frequently. But, most sites are not currently seeing the issue. We will update in this thread when we know more.

We have posted a ticket on Atlassian's ecosystem help and on their developer forum. We are awaiting a reponse.

Other app vendors are reporting the same issue. We've also posted on Atlassian's critical incident slack channel.

"Between 14:00 UTC to 15:30 UTC, we experienced an issue with our media platform that for Jira and Confluence Cloud. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally."
