Exercises #13

Currently the exercises are a static drop-down Add an exercise collection with a few static exercises in it (Push-ups, Squats, etc)

During Set creation/modification allow a user to upload a "cue" (via a record button)

Each user will be allowed to create their own cues.

The cue will be a voice recording of the exercise: "Push-ups"

During Live execution of a set, the cue will play 3 seconds prior to the start of that exercise

It sounds like the cue is inserting 5 seconds. Both audio streams need to play at the same time.

cincochristopher commented 8 years ago

Really? I only set it to 3 seconds. the first exercise is executed at exactly 4 sec of the audio (first 3 seconds from exercise cue), or do I have to decrease the cue duration?

Yeah. I think its better that way instead of muting/unmuting audio :)

jgroom33 commented 8 years ago

When I played it on my phone there was a pause in the music as if waiting for the cue to play. Then played the music again. I was assuming that 2 audios weren't playing simultaneously. I'm using firefox on a Nexus6. What is the experience you are seeing?

Also... Add an exercise tab so we can associate the cues to the exercise. Then we don't need to record a cue for every set.

An exercise should have the ability to store multiple cues also. so they can be injected randomly for a better user experience.

cincochristopher commented 8 years ago

Yes thats it, I purposely did that. when cue is playing I just temporarily mute the audio (not pause actually) :)

I actually remove the muting/unmuting of audio just right now, so they are now being played at the same time.

Alright. I'll add a tab for exercise.

I just want to clarify, when there are multiple cues inserted to an exercise, how will we know what to play during execution?

jgroom33 commented 8 years ago

Randomly pick one. It's just so the athlete doesn't get used to the same cue. Variety is nice.
