Distribution of ligation mix

Description: The ligation mix is not distributed properly from the reagent to the reaction plate. After this step some wells are missing liquid.

Cause: The viscosity and small volume of the ligation mix causes it to form droplets on the end of the tips during dispense that sometimes fail to detach.

Possible fixes:

• Lowering of dispense height (implemented)
• A pause was introduced to allow the operator to confirm that the mix was transferred properly (this should be removed when the problem is solved)

The lowered dispense height appears to have solved the issue. The pause will be kept for an additional time to verify this.

The pause in the protocol was disabled since no problems has been observed in this step after the fix was implemented.
