Multiple Categories per Event #23

Perhaps the category field can act more like a tag than a setting. That way events can be flagged with different tags and show up in different areas. For example, we have an upcoming fundraiser for Youth. Multiple categories would allow this to show up in the youth-specific calendar and on the general church calendar, too.

Good suggestion. Would you think it would be better to only have "tags" or categories rather then a Calendar and Categories fields?

I would prefer tags with a single calendar to be honest—it seems clearer to me, and more flexible. Then have the ability to select whatever tags or set of tags you want to display. No specification shows all. Prominent events, too, can go away and just be replaced with another tag. This would greatly simplify the interface.

On the other hand, having a way to color-code items is still necessary... actually, that could also be done with tags (maybe some predefined tags? customizable color1, color2, etc), but it could also be done with categories or separate calendars.
