What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Running a fasta format file contain "•" character in the sequence ID
description
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Primer design is aborted (probably the issue lies with Primer3 rather than
msatcommander)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
8.2 on OSX 10.5.8
Please provide any additional information below.
The "dots" in my sequence ID were a carry over from those incorporated
during ABI sequence runs (perhaps dating back to an old ABI 377). Probably
resolved by changing these characters to something more common in ASCII.
