IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: #36

I have been trying to install msatcommander 0.8.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 and
msatcommander 0.8.2 on Windows XP.

When I run msatcommander on testSequence.fsa with 'Design Primers' selected I
get the same following error on both OSs:

IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
u'/home/administrator/Programs/msatcommander-0_8_2/primer3/gi_42495662_gb_AY5229
99_1__primer.txt'

Repeats are found and reported in both cases and written to
microsatSearchOutput.csv, and a primer3_temp.txt file is written to the Primer3
output directory. No other primer files are created.

Has anybody come across this before? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

I'm having the same problem, but with the Windows version. I also had
experienced memory errors when screening Ion Torrent data (4.5M reads) for
microsat loci - the program would find repeat regions fine, but would not
design primers (wouldn't even produce the temp.txt file).

I tried to get around that problem by filtering the fasta read file to have
only the top 80 loci and tried to use msatcommander to bulk design primers -
which is when I started getting the above error. So clearly there are multiple
issues with the primer design component of the Windows version.
