Just tried Ghostbusters, just like Boomblox but instead of black screen I get
the
safety strap screen, but no matter what I do, can't get past that. Tried fix:
none,
reboot, fix: anti_002, reboot, fix: error_002. All three, same result, safety
strap
screen, nothing else. I'm using rev13a, would I get better results using rev10
or
rev13b? Is there a proper way to uninstall rev13a? If so, what do I need to
download?
Thank in advance

- for cIOS 13a use fix "error_002"
- for cIOS 10 use fix "Anti_002"
- for cIOS 13b try "none" or fix "Anti_002"
- for other cIOS >7 try fix "Anti_002"

I'm using 4.0U with 13a. System Information in RC7U1 reports that I have RC7
(r706),
IOS Version 249 (rev13). So far, of all of my games that I have tested in
RCU1, the
only games that work are EA Sports Active with "Anti_002" and Gold's Gym with
"Anti_002". So LoudBob11, either your suggestions are wrong or something else
is
going on. I never did anything to uninstall cIOS38_rev10, do I need to? If I
uninstall cIOS249 (rev13a), will my games work (Ghostbusters, Boom Blox, LEGO:
Indiana Jones, etc)?
Thanks in advance.

For our SystemInfo we use the lib-function IOS_GetRevision(). This function
can't
distinguish between cIOS rev13(a) and rev13b, it always returns 13.
So are you sure you have 13(a) and not 13b?
cIOS's don't need to uninstall, the next one overwrites the previous one...

I will download rev13 from waninkoko's blog, which can play more games? 10 or
13. I
just installed 10 but the games that worked with 13 work with 10. I'll install
13 from
a fresh download to see if maybe I was using 13b all along.

I went to waninkoko's block, clicked on descargar custom cios38 rev13, then
registered and logged in to the site it took me to, then clicked on downloads,
then Important Wii Apps, then Cios 38 Rev 13 a/b, then Rev 13a, then extracted
it to a dir
in /apps renamed the dol to boot.dol, ran Homebrew Channel, ran rev13a, did
network
install, and....
Boom Blox does not work with none,Error_002, nor Anti_002. Could it be that
since I
reinstalled rev13 right before trying RC7, Nintendo has already modified IOS38
so
that when Waninkoko's installer downloads and patches IOS38, it creates an
IOS249
that does not work because Nintendo has modified other parts of it that don't
get
patched so that the patches don't all work anymore? Far fetched, I know, but
if
someone out there has 4.0U and rev13a and your boom blox is working, install
rev10
from network, then install rev13 from network and let me know if everything
still
works after doing that.

I am on Rev 13a with WAD-Installation, so it won't matter if they changed
anything
to the online files. Before going back to Rev 10 (with WAD-Installation :) ) I
will
try that, I think in 3-4 hours.

@crash.test.donkey
Are your games running with an other Usb-Loader? Please try...

LoudBob11 - No, not anymore. All my exercise games still work but most of the
others
that did don't anymore, like boom blox and ghostbusters. wiicoverloader
doesn't edit
anything on the WBFS partition does it? If you lay the wii on its side so that
on
the face the sd card slot is below the game slot, I always plug my HD into the
bottom
USB port. Should I be using the top USB port (not likely to be the problem, I
know,
but just asking incase different "fixes" assume specific usb port.

This issue looks more to do with cIOS revisions and their relative merits
rather than
with the loader and it's settings.
If games aren't working with other loaders then the problem is unlikely to be
with
this loader.
