You struck a nice balance between offering kudos and suggestions for improvement with enough detail for them to be actionable, such as the need for validation on the zip code. I'm curious if you used any code quality analysis tools to assist with your review? If so, it would be nice to include the report from that tool and identify some easy wins for the developer.
