gsl 2013 round of 8 vods not playing #3

I installed this addon yesterday (thx for forking the original and trying to get it working again, btw). I found that it successfully got the VOD list but failed when I attempted to play any of the round of 8 VODs.

If there's any further info which I could include in this issue please let me know. I'm just not sure where the script logs to.

Have you tried disabling the experimental feature ( enable skipping ) or something along those lines?

I haven't but will right now. I also realised that I installed the zip which was posted in the bitbucket thread rather than grabbing the version here from github. Updating to github version and will mess with skipping feature.

@Fuzzwah thanks for the report. I just released 0.0.9 which has a few fixes, hopefully you have some success with it. http://i.hawth.ca/files/4/plugin.video.gomtv.net-0.0.9.zip

Could you please try restarting XBMC after installing. If the RO8 VODs still won't play could you try disabling "Enable seeking (Workaround)" as Velrok suggests.

If videos still won't play could you provide your xbmc.log

So I've got two things to report: when I reinstalled the plugin after downloading from here on github I was getting login failure error. (I'll make a new issue for this).

So I dropped back to the version I downloaded from the bitbucket thread ( http://i.hawth.ca/files/3/plugin.video.gomtv.net-0.0.8.zip ) and disabled the enable seeking option. VOD which was previously failing now played back. However it was SD not HQ (which I have set up in the config).

PS: I'm now grabbing 0.0.9 which John just posted. Will report back.

Login failed message when trying to start v0.0.9 of the plugin.

Thanks. Could you make sure you can login on GOMtv.net? 0.0.8 did not properly report login errors, so it's likely that was the issue on that version as well.

Here's the tail of my xbmc.log:

To install 0.0.9 I first removed the plugin (v0.0.8) and then installed from zip file (after I'd dl'd 0.0.9 to my home dir).

Hahah wow I'm a dolt. I use lastpass to manage my passwords and I misread one of the letters since the stupid font I'm using displays 1's and l's very similarly. Now that I'm using the correct password it works. Sorry about that.

No problem. Needed the incentive to bump out 0.0.9.

Just to let you know, I tested putting enable seeking back on (as much I as love Tastosis, the crap they talk pre-game annoys me) and it is working as expected.
