AHH man I had troubles with using the command line for git. I completely agree with you on the ease of using the app. It's just a few simple clicks and a message and you are done. But with the command line or terminal you have to type everything out bleghh. I switch between my macbook pro(when I have to do the prep away from the desktop) and desktop(as primary) and I do see what you mean by not having the github app on other computers (even though I have it on both).
Using the terminal isn't too difficult, yet, but it is definitely more time consuming with all the commands. Your workflow is clear and precise. I definitely relate to your reflection ahah.
