can I use Google scripts to work with dictionary ?
I mean, is it allowed to send requests to
http://translate.google.com/translate_a/t?
client=t&text=world&sl=en&tl=uk&pc=0&oc=1 and publish response data ? (non
commercial
purpose)
Original comment by dmyts...@gmail.com

@dmytserg Check out the Google AJAX Language API:

jrgeerdes, I'm talking exactly about dictionary but not only translation.
Current Google JSAPI allows work with dictionary ?
Original comment by dmyts...@gmail.com
on 5 Oct 2009 at 1:25
dmytserg, i believe as long as you give credit to google (with their powered by
logo)
you will be able to use it for a non-commercial purpose
I am actually trying for the same thing (well i want to use the data, not
publish it),
although i had no idea about those extra commands you can give to the search.
Can i ask
where you found about them?
That's why i'm patiently waiting for google to provide us with a nifty api :)

It is still not answered whether it is allowed to use this approach
http://translate.google.com/translate_a/t?client=t&text=world&sl=en&tl=ru&pc=0&o
c=1
And what are the consequences if I use this way? (although I doubt that I'll
get an
answer to this)
Of course I'll use the "Powered by Google" logo

Would be amazingly useful in our free language app. Currently using Google
Translation API, but the dictionary is much more suitable to single-word
apps...
Please Google, give us a hand!
