It can be useful to illustrate how many assets are waiting to confirm.

I'm unaware of any relevance given to the value of a transaction in the process of mining since priority was removed. Neither do I see any importance to such a chart, as it can so easily be manipulated by some whale sending coins to himself, even without a fee.
