[FEATURE] This player has not been updated for too long. #1287

It looks like the original developer of this package has not been continuing with this project for the past two years, it is trully disappointing. But I think this project must be continued, as creating a fully customized video player from scratch is really challenging. It's the most popular video player in pub.dev and with most helpful fetures.

I've found that @SunnatilloShavkatov has created a new fork and uploaded his version of this player on pub.dev, named better_player_plus. I think we should actively contribute to and collaborate on this fork. Any new issues, bug fixes, and pull requests submitted to that git repository will undoubtedly benefit the entire community. I think we should work together to ensure this package is always UpToDate and and compatible with recent version of flutter and platforms.

+1 @sajedulsakib001 agree that we need to keep the package going until the flutter video_player experience catches up. @jhomlala if you don't have time, maybe its worth adding a few key community members as part of the repo ownership to continue the maintenance.
