Chromecast stopped broadcasting #577

my chrome cast was working just fine and about a week ago it stopped working.
The small icon to broadcast stopped appearing on my iPhone 6 and on my 
boyfriends android phone as well.
The chrome seems to work bc on the tv it appears ready to broadcast but no 
device can find it.
Please help.
We have reset both our phones and the router and has not helped.

Please see the troubleshooting guide to help you determine where the real 
discovery issue might be: https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/discovery. 
Also, make sure your Google Play Services is up to date.
If that doesn't resolve your issue, please submit a feedback report 
(https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/3187017?hl=en) via the Chromecast 
app. Make sure any checkboxes are checked and include the phrase "Cast Icon Not 
Found" in your report.
