Chromecast unable to output video properly. #620

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Unknown

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Chromecast expected to work normally. Chromecast alternates between no signal 
output and 1080p output.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chromecast

Please provide any additional information below.
Chromecast has always done this with a Magnavox 52MF437S/37 Television.
