i was so glad i found this #10

trying to set up on an amazon instance

had to figure out how to install git... which took some doing for a windows guy

git worked...

everything worked until i typed "rake"

then i got

(in /root/build-couchdb) mkdir -p /root/build-couchdb/build/bin rake aborted! undefined method `mktmpdir' for Dir:Class
