We have good options to enable a user to show precisely what they want to see in their hierarchy, showing or hiding certain kinds of concepts. Also the user might manually expand or collapse things. However, when the user hits "expand all" or "collapse all", there's no way to get back to your previous state.
Options:
a. A kind of back button to go back to the previous expand state.
b. Browser back button goes back to previous state.
c. Change "expand all" and "collapse all" to toggles: When you hit one of these, that button is highlighted so the user knows it is active. Untoggling will return to the user's custom state.
