I plan using cisst stereo vision library with the following video capture cards with USB 3.0 input and wanted to check if I may run into compatibility issues before purchasing. Is there any recommendation on what card to use?

StarTech.com HDMI Video Capture Device for USB 3.0 Computers - VGA / DVI / CPNT / HDMI Video Capture Device - 1080p 60fps Epiphan DVI2USB 3.0 DVI/VGA/HDMI to USB 3.0 Video Grabber

What is the platform you want to use the camera with? Windows, Linux, Mac? Which version of the OS?

I want to use it in Windows 7 Professional.

If your capture device has a standard Windows WDM driver (most devices do), then it will be available in CISST SVL. However if your device has a proprietary video driver that only works with specific applications, then it will likely not be supported. Please consult with the manufacturer or download the device driver before purchasing the device in order to find out what kind of driver it comes with.
