Overall, I think this is great! I think we might need a bit more explanation about what a branch is for people who are new to it (how main and the new branch are different). Also some of the getting started section should probably be updated so that things are described for entry level people too. I can work on that! I think it could be helpful to merge this first though, because the preview is not working for me for the getting started sections.
I also noticed some overlap between getting_started.Rmd and writing_content.Rmd that could maybe be consolidated, but again it's harder to tell without the preview.
The preview is not good at dealing with sub menu links which is unfortunate and I'm not sure of a solution around that. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I'm cool with your strategy of lets merge now and polish more.
Based on our manuscript review (as well as realizations we've had elsewhere), it's clear we need to more formally flesh out 2 different ways to use OTTR.
1) Entry Level - for individuals who aren't familiar with GitHub and want to use it through the browser 2) Advanced - for individuals who already know how to use GitHub or would like to learn.
I'm working on splitting up these processes here.
