In 0.6 unable to use lstlistings and also biblatex #1

Unable to use the package lstlistings to include software in the Appendix. Also biblatex not working, have to use bibitem, but then again unable use the cite function

Please know that I no longer have time to support this project actively. I would be glad to merge a pull request if you find a fix for the problem.
