Connection Problems with PS3

What version of wireless tether are you using? 2.0-pre3 (Eclair)

I currently run an Ethernet cord from my computer to my Playstation while
using my Wifi-tether witch it signs me into my PSN account but when I try
to play a game online it disconnects me/ signs me out... i was just
wondering if anybody knew how to set up a Playstation using wifi tether. I
would greatly appreciate it! and don't be saying it doesn't work or it
would be too slow cuz it worked just fine through PDA Net..but i dont like
PDA net or wanna pay for it.

PS3 Will not connect with Droid Tether. Thethering emits a AdHoc signal that 
the PS3 does not support.

You won't be able to connect directly because I think PS3 will only connect to 
Infrastructure, but you'll still be able to set up Internet Sharing through the 
connection your PC is using via Wireless Tether.

Correct. The ps3 is not able to join adhoc-"networks".
