Using Android RealVNC Viewer 1.0 cannot connect to server
#What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Real VNC settings:
Address = 127.0.0.1::5900
Name = blank
2: connectbot settings
host = ssh settings confirmed as working
port forward = local port 5900 to 192.168.1.100:5900 (lan host)
3. I have tried ports 5901 and 5902 as well. Have tried 'localhost::5900 to no
avail. RealVNC #will# connect to Lan host without using connectbot.
#What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Error=Port on which the computer is listening could not be contacted
#What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using #Menu ->
About in the Host List)?
1.7.1.2010.10.08
#What type of system are you trying to connect to?
ubuntu 10.10 desktop 64bit
# If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", # "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?
Using public keys, ssh connects works brilliantly :)
