Probably, but when and how will depend a lot on the exact details.

Any news for this? I didn't know that The Archive Browser did not support RAR 5
and I recompressed a lot of old files to save space. I recovered my original
*.rar from my backup for now, but I'm just wondering if it'll come one day! :)

Hmm. It's probably a lot of work, but I don't have much else queued up at the
moment so maybe I should look into it.

Hello there,
I want to humbly make the same request to introduce rar5-support.

RAR 5 support would top this great app off.

Given that RAR5 use has become pretty widespread these days, I think that the
priority of this upgrade should be reconsidered.
That upgrade however is definitely substantial and not done by adding a few
lines of code.

I'm also in need of RAR5 support. Does anyone know an alternative?

GUI? Not sure. Command line, yep that's what I use at the moment.

Along with 7Z and Zip, this is used all over. I'd love to see RAR5 support.
