Archive types association is broken in OS X 10.10 #800

I bought The Archive Browser application but it seems the support is here.

When opening the preferences and trying to use the "Select All" button to
associate all the file types with the application it doesn't work. None of the
file types selection change.

It seems the file association got broken in Yosemite. Even selecting individual
file types doesn't work. They simply don't get selected.

As a result I had to manually change the open with application for every file I
got.
Not even the ones that are selected in the application work. Like the .zip

I was using OS X 10.8 and it worked fine!

Apple has disabled this functionality for all App Store apps in Yosemite, it
seems.

Is there a way to install it outside the App Store? Or will it still not work?

Thanks

I have a non-App Store version for sale on the webstie too, but unfortunately
on a different licensing system. Email me and I can arrange you a license code
for it.

Yes please. I thought the sand-boxed version would only imply asking before
doing certain operations. If I new it would take features from it I would have
purchased outside App Store.
I will keep this in mind when purchasing apps in the future.

I cannot see your email address unfortunately. When I go to your profile, after
filling the captcha it doesn't appear anyway.
What info do you need on the email body?

Thanks a lot
