I realize it is not part of the original 12C but I think it would be great
if there was an option to display what is going on in the X,Y,Z and T
registers ("the stack").

You could put it under the display or you could move the display to the
left and put it in all that space next to the logo.

That is a good suggestion, however it would go against the design of the 
perfect simulations that Mr Fors has 
accomplished. If such a display were part of a "flip-over" display fine, but 
not on the front. If such a display were 
on the front, I would want an option to not show it. As a hard-core hp rpn'er, 
I wouldn't want training wheels.
