Calcs do not work on my iTouch 2G (2.2.1)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installer: Unable to decode package more info at
http://hpcalc-iphone.googlecode.com/svn/repo/hp15c.html
2. manual installation of downloads: Calcs just show the Default.png for a
second when started and disappear
3. when run from console ./hp16c it just says: Killed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iPod Touch 2G (2.2.1)

Please provide any additional information below.
Durinf the manual istall:
- the directory HP-16C.app is set to permission 777 (-rwxrwxrwx)
 -all the files in directory were set to 755 (tried 775 or 777 too)

Ok I just figured that these are now sold through app store so issues like 
these, I
guess, would not be resolved for non-paying customers :)
