I guess it will not. Not sure. When I tried running in with some version 5.x, 
it did not start. I believe there are a few API changes.

I have been running this on v0.6.5 -- didn't come across any issue.

Does TLS work okay with this? i.e. TLS to XMPP servers?

works for me with websocket, didn't not tried with wss

I meant TLS to the backend XMPP server. NXB isn't designed to make wss work. In 
fact, it isn't even meant for https. A front-end proxy is needed for this 
conversion.

I see. https://github.com/nodejitsu/node-http-proxy could do the trick.
