Lost text with 'Trim trailing spaces' #204

The modul has lines like

      message=u"Schlüssel muß zwischen 1 und 99 liegen",

With 'Trim trailing spaces' the result was

      message=u"Schlüssel muß zwischen 1 und 99 lieg,

en" got lost

I could not reproduce this.

I've added the line to a new file and tried the "Trim Trailing Whitespace" 
action
from the Edit/Format menu, both with two extra spaces and without any.
Also, I've tried it using the UTF-8 encoding and ISO-8859-1.

What encoding have you used?
Is it reproducible still for you?

(I've tried using SVN trunk, r519)

It happens frequently but not always.

I'll try to describe the situation precisely when the error happens.
