Voltage regulator is too weak #35

So burns when 16.8V is applied for charging

But: it's connected to 12V... So, perhaps it gets fried, when battery is disconnected, and 16.8V is applied to buck IC? No...

Perhaps the fatal issue occurs when the ESP32 shuts down / resets?

No problems with using external buck converter. So, new approch (already in 17bc307): use an XL1509-3.3
