Occurs with tablet buttons, e.g. Home, Recents, Back, not just those in DemPower.
Two workarounds:
Lay tablet on firm surface, e.g. table and tap button.
Briefly press the Power button to turn off screen then again to turn on.
Supporting tablet behind / underneath with one hand before tapping button also helps.
